That’s why you choose Killarney Harps. Killarney Harps is a labour of love for Tim O’Carroll, a Kerry man who took 40 years of experience as a joiner and furniture designer/maker and honed it to become the region’s premier harp maker.
The Story
Tim founded Killarney Harps in 2011 in Killarney, a famous beauty spot in Ireland’s southwest. Inspired by the natural beauty and rich culture of his hometown, Tim spent more than 18 months working on an idea to build a unique musical instrument, ultimately creating a masterpiece he christened the Inishfallen Harp.
The Inishfallen Harp was the first of a line of masterpieces, each one a jewel of musical potential to be played by harpists across Ireland and around the world.
